In the cold winter months, the warm exhaust air from the room is captured in the built-in counter-flow heat exchanger, which transfers the heat to the cooler incoming air. Both air streams, the inlet and outlet air, are entirely separated. In the summer months, when the summer operating mode is switched on, the outlet air travels past the heat exchanger and does not transfer heat to the inlet air.

The ORCA central recuperator has built in counter-current heat exchangers, which means that the inlet and outlet air never mix. They are separated by a heat exchanger, which allows the transfer of heat from the exhaust to the inlet air. This is important if we want to eliminate viruses circulating in the air from the facility with the ventilation system.

ORCA central ventilation systems are easy to maintain and clean. Both built-in filters, G4 and F8, allow easy removal and cleaning. You can easily set a reminder to clean the built-in filters on the app for managing the central ventilation system, and the device will remind you when it's time to do the cleaning. After repeated cleaning, the quality of the filters deteriorates, so it is recommended to replace them once a year. If the device itself detects filter clogging with its pressure sensor before the set time expires, the device will warn you of filter clogging with an alarm.

There is no need to worry that after several years of operation, dust will accumulate in the ventilation pipes, which would be difficult to access. For the installation of central ventilation systems, Orca uses flexible antistatic and antibacterial pipes, in which, with the regular operation of the ventilation system, the accumulation of dust is prevented.
